ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Welcome to our Early Foundations In Classical Ballet Program, led by established ballerina, choreographer and performer Molly Ellenberg (Read more about Ms. Molly below).
This program is for those little boys and girls that have expressed interest in music and dance from a very early age. We want to help nourish their natural instincts and love for movement, rhythm and dance and develop that into a potentially great dancer.
Have you noticed your baby boy or girl twirling or moving hips when they hear music? Have you seen them watch a dance performance with undivided attention? Have you seen them trying to copy dance moves from you, and older sibling or someone they saw on TV or elsewhere? Then you may have a little dancer in your house! Act on it and start them early so they can learn discipline, focus, taking directions, feel for rhythm, balance, working as a group, posture, elegance and grace.
THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM
This program will lay the foundations of early training in Classical Ballet. Kids will learn terminology and movement that they will later on apply in a more strict ballet training. Kids who have graduated from this program will be ready to go into one of our enrollment classes to further their Ballet education.
BEGINS SUNDAY MARCH 4th – ENDS SUNDAY JUNE 3rd.
