A Free Easter Egg-Stravaganza For Kids In The Community
A Community Unites To Create Smiles On Children’s Faces!
Washington, DC, April 1st, 2018 – The No.1 Latin Dance Studio in the DMV is hosting a Free Easter Event on Sunday, April 1st from 1pm to 3pm for families in the community. The event will feature variety of activities and entertainment for the kids such as face painting, arts & crafts, balloon making, dance lesson, performance, egg piñata and more. Local businesses and artists such as Los Hermanos, Clown N Around, Imagine Cake Studio, Khephra’s Raw Food & Juice Bar, Artist and Craftsman Supply, Target, Nandos and others will be sponsoring their products and services giving families an opportunity to experience a one-of-a-kind Easter celebration.
In 2016, The Salsa With Silvia Dance Studio was awarded a DC government grant of $85,000 and personally acknowledged for its community efforts and improvement of the Georgia Avenue Corridor by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. In 2014, the Studio’s Owner left her job as a Lead Producer at NASA TV to dedicate her time entirely to making a difference in the community for dance students of all ages. With a team of over 20 staff and instructors and following of nearly 5,000 students, the Studio has been holding a No.1 place on Google searches for the past 5 years. Within that time, the Studio has expanded from the basement of the Owner’s house into a beautifully designed 2,600 sq. ft. commercial space that can easily be called “The Gem Of Georgia Ave.”
One of the goals of the Salsa With Silvia Team is to make sure it always shows appreciation and gives back to the families and the community that support the Studio. The Free Easter Event is just one way to do that. During the event, kids will get an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny, get their face painted, eat, drink and enjoy some great performances from local entertainers. This event is meant to benefit everyone in the community, the families of the Salsa With Silvia Studio and highlight the greatness that can be created when the community unites to create smiles on children’s faces.
